Over the top, realistic, fantastical, modern, historical, doesn't matter. What are your favorite 3 war movies of all time? (yes, Lord of the Rings counts.)
Here are mine: 1. Full Metal Jacket 2. Braveheart 3. Apocalypse Now Last edited by Foolproof; 06-12-2009 at 11:20 PM.. |

Full Metal Jacket, Starship Troopers, and 2003's Battlestar Galactica mini-series.
It's pretty hard to narrow it down to just three. |

Blackhawk Down Saving Private Ryan. Geeze only three? Thats harder to Narrow Down than I thought! My Favorite movie of all time may or may not be considered a "war" movie per se, Its called The Duellists, 1977, Harvey Keitel, Keith Caradinne. Set during the Napoleonic War, follows an ongoing feud by the two main characters, and the duels they fight but never seem to be decisive. Love the scenery, a little bit much of romance to it too but not too bad. |
