after reading the book, this movie will differ as it won't be as focused on John Conner. In fact, the director has said that originally that Conner was going to be a small role - before Christian Bale signed on.

I saw it for free this morning and it was great.I loved the little Arnie cameo even though it was mostly CGI to make him look young.Great movie. Now I'm going to go see it in I-Max.This is how I wished a G.I. Joe movie would have turned out with the war look

Just got back loved it. The Marcus Wright character was especially great. Reese was cool to see evolve. And Bale has done it again saving another franchise. Visually this film is what Terminator fans have been dreaming of. Its a fun summer blockbuster to say the least. Minor flaws forgiven.

I liked it, thought it was good. I didn't think it was bad, it left more questions than answers though. I found the backstories to be intriguing, I just wish they were explored more.
During the movie, I kept thinking, "man, if only Hasbro had the license for the toys....G.I. Joe scale Terminator figures done right, vehicles significantly bigger than the Playmates Toys versions out now......". |

I'm going tonight. Can't wait. I'm going with my father-in-law and my son. We're all excited like a bunch of little kids going to the candy store. My father-in-law is cool like that, he likes my kind of movies.
