I am a bit surprised they are jamming Bucky's return back on us so fast! It seems poor Steve has no timer to adjust!

I said the exact same thing in another thread where this emerged: Bucky disappeared for 70 years (in real time, not comic time!) and with all the possible story options for the CAPTAIN AMERICA sequel that came about during massive that run of material, they're going with the Winter Soldier?
Should have been kept for movie number three, at least.

I like the actorthey chose for Falcon, but I wonder how on earth they're going to pull off the costume without making him look ridiculous.

Should have been kept for movie number three, at least. The arm can be gussied up to be a little more techy and a little less comic-y. Otherwise his suit can basically just be a darker variation of the one he already wore in The First Avenger. Maybe (or maybe not) replace the domino mask with some "night vision" goggles and voila! Movie-fied Winter Soldier. Last edited by Jmacq1; 09-17-2012 at 12:50 PM.. |

I think Winter Soldiers costume will translate really easily to be honest.I knew Mackie was actively pursuing the role of Falcon-glad to see he scored it.
also I really hope the Red Skull returns.....surely they wont waste Weaving like that? |

Oh wait...if Roland meant the Falcon instead of Winter Soldier...yeah, I dunno how that's gonna work out. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets something like the Batman Begins/Dark Knight glider-cape, though.
And I'm betting the Skull doesn't (re)appear until the end (or maybe the climax) of the film. |

I think it's great to work the Winter Soldier in for the second movie. That saves "Cap-Wolf" for the epic 3rd part of the trilogy giving it the gravitas it deserves.

Or they could just go with his "Ultimate" look they way they did with Hawkeye. It's basically just a dude in a military-ish outfit with a wing harness. Actually, in hindsight it would actually make sense (assuming he's a SHIELD agent) to put him in a variation on Hawkeye's costume...with wings. This is figuring that Hawkeye's outfit is in fact some sort of SHIELD uniform and not some specifically-for-him "super suit" (which doesn't make a ton of sense in the context that SHIELD has been presented so far).
