Kind of amazed at how much they give away in that trailer...particularly the Doctor Octopus and Vulture easter eggs.
Not sure I'm keen on every single villain Spider-Man faces coming from Oscorp, but ehn...the action looks decent. |

I can buy the Vulture wings. Toomes was never a scientist.
But Otto's arms? He should be off on his own, making these inventions that rival Oscorp. It helps show his genious. As part of Oscorp, he's not as smart. If that makes any sense.

in USM, Otto worked at OsCorp but developed the arms himself. they were fused to him when the explosion that created Green Goblin and Hobgoblin happened.

Im not opposed to Otto being an Oscorp guy like Curt Connors BUT he must be a genuine bad guy here.....unlike Raimis version. for me Doc Ock is one of THE best bad guys in comicdom.....making him a 50% bad guy was a mistake for me on Raimis part and it still hurts the movie for me a touch. |

it's also later revealed that Ock's got a power to command metal and can make his own tentacles from metal lying around.
