Yes, loved Blood Vessel. Was a pretty good movie for being close to a B-movie. The Original Thing was excellent. I have loved horror movies since I was a kid. Scared the crap out of me but I kept going back. I like Fright Night, the original. Loved the Original Salem's Lot. If you have not checked out Midnight Mass on Netflix, it was surprisingly good. I Like Vampire movies, Possession Movies like Dominion the Exorcist prequel, monster movies like werewolves, Aliens, Gargoyles, Creepy crawlie movies. I Love Horror movies that are Historically linked.

I am a fan but cannot remember the last decent horror movie I've seen. I finished a Netflix series called The Midnight Club most recently but did not like. I guess I couldn't tell it was intended for a younger audience from the brief preview they show and I just watched it the whole way through. It is from the same people who did Haunting of Bly Manor and Haunting of Hill House, and I believe Midnight Mass.

Anyone pick up the newly-released Event Horizon 4k? I need that in my life.

I don't think I'm alone when I say most modern horror movies tend to suck or are mediocre at best. And don't even get me started on remakes! The only GOOD remake I've seen was for Evil Dead. Even without the greatness of Bruce Campbell that movie was a bloody good time. Ya also can't go wrong with the classic Universal Monster movies. Watching the 1930's Dracula featuring Bela Lugosi at midnight on Halloween whilst sipping on Mountain Dew was a most excellent experience. Also almost any movie staring or featuring Vincent Price is a good time. What can I say? I like the classics.
Course you got your Nightmare on Elm Streets and Friday the 13ths and stuff like that, but I like to go back to the roots to see where it all started. Also does Jaws count as a horror film? I like to think it does.

It's an anime horror series, but I just finished Japanese Tales of the Macabre on Netflix. Overall I'd say the stories were very good with some being lackluster but worth a watch.
