The original Halloween is my all time favorite followed closely by the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. So low budget but so awesome. Another one to check out that's kinda disturbing is the original Last House on the Left, Wes Craven's first film I believe. Very raw. I'm sure they watered this new version down compared to the original.

Saw a great zombie flick a while back. I think the name of it was Evil, or something. Anyway the coolest thing is the final shot where the three remaining survivors run into a soccer stadium and right onto the field. Camera switches to an ariel shot of hundreds of zombies, thousands of em converging on the soccer stadium. Awesome image.

I love Zombie movies and the Friday the 13th series mainly. There are some other ones including old school stuff like Universal Monster movies I dig as well.

There was this one I watched growing up, scared the hell out of me, I remember it took place out on a farm, and the husband was killed and at the end he appears to warn his wife to get out of the house and all the sudden a huge demonic hand grabs the wife and pulls her down. (I wish I could remember the name of it).
