Anyone disappointed on how the 2nd Season of Terminator:S.C.C.?
The first season being only nine episodes was awesome. I even bought the Blu-Ray which is rare since I don't buy T.V. shows. Anyway. who else watches the show and are disappointed as I am? This show can be so much better. I think they need to "kill" off some charaters and focus on the core of the story, John's training and staying alive. |

You're right, the writing has definitely just gone straight into the crapper, it's playing out more like a soap opera then science fiction and adventure. They've had a couple of good episodes this season, but mostly it's just been downhill. The first season was just amazing, they just kept blowing away expectations with every episode. Now . . .

Anyone still watch this? It kind of crapped out for a while, but this season has been really picking up. I know the show is on it's way out and the new movie scraps it, but it's still been pretty entertaining. They fuckin killed Derrick though, just like that, like it was nothing. Not cool...

That would explain everyone getting killed off for no apparent reason.

Did he just skip the trouble of judgment day and time travel straight to the future to lead the rebellion. Thats kind of what I got form it , but I'm not sure.

I know one of the main factors of the show is time travel, but I have never been a fan of these "alternate realities". It reminds me of all those SG1 episodes focused around alternate timelines with all those "oh by the way, everything you remembered never happened nonsense".
I have enjoyed it. It's been okay to watch. I prefer this season finale to the Battlestar Galactica finale where Starbuck just disappears. "We didn't know what to do with her so we just turned her into a ghost." That explains everything, thanks. That was a great show, but the ending was a bit of a let down.

Time to shed some light onto my fellow Terminator Fans, First off this show is a separate entity from the new film, that being said every day can change your future, depending on your actions, so what future did John jump to, well, from what it showed it is well before Kyle is sent back, it looks like no one has any idea who Connor is (maybe something his mother did in the past changed that) There is plenty of subtext to this series, earlier in the season Derrick had different memories of his future than his ol girlfriend, so like the saying goes "The Future is not set"!!!
As a fan I was blown away by the final scenes of this season, mainly because everyone thought the T-1000 chick was evil, but she isn't, and the subplot about Dyson's son missing, there is a bigger picture than what we are seeing, so wait until all is revealed before all of you rush to judgement, I for one applaud the writers, they have taken us for a hell of a ride, and I can't wait to see what happens next! |
