It's a good show. My boys at 3 and 6 love it. I for one am glad they are keeping heroes and characters that i love alive by making kid friendly shows. I can't very well hand my six year Dark Knight Returns to read, so I'm glad there are shows like Batman: Brave and the Bold for them. Cartoons are for kids. Now they can be for adults too, and there is plenty out there catering to the adult taste (Family Guy, South Park, adult swim) but some stuff just has to be marketed to a younger audience. IF they don't find a way to get kids into the stuff we all love where will the next generation of fanboys come from?

I really do miss the Bruce Timm DCAU. (I have the complete collection on DVD.) And while the original Brave and the Bold comics dealt with serious issues like drugs, this cartoon goes in the opposite direction with it's kid friendly humor. But this series definitely has it's highlights. I has so happy to see the former Blue Beetle, Ted Kord, get some recognition in the same episode as the current Blue Beetle. I also loved seeing Red Tornado, the Atom, and the GL Corp. And the episode with WildCat had me absolutely roflmao.

I like it, unfortunately I've only seen a few episodes and half of them were repeats of the Blue Beetle episode

It's HILARIOUS and it manages to bring in cool "C" level DC heroes and villains with fun action and a nod to the 60's camp of the Adam West show.
I hated it at first because it was too kiddy, but my son kept watching it and I realized they were tying in some serious old-school (and some new-school!) storylines from the comics. Multiple earths, the Red Hood, Crime syndicate... This show is awesome in a completely different way from the original Batman animated series. Don't get me wrong, it's nowhere near the level of "real batman" that the original TAS was, but when you "get" the show, you'll "get" it and it's pretty enjoyable. If you can love the real, "grim n gritty" Batman and still enjoy the 60's Adam West show for laughs and ridiculous storylines, you should be able to draw the same parallels with the original Batman TAS and this new Brave and the Bold series.

I really like the show. It's so horrible and corny it's actually enjoyable to watch. I watch it whenever it's on.
