Yeah he was! The first House was scary but the second one was basically comedy. It lost points for that but it was what first got me interested in crystal skulls so I can't knock it too much

You have to love the Tall Man and that little sphere with it's shiny look and that heat seeking infra red look as the ball closed in on some poor victim

I can still hear that dead cowboy asking for the crystal skull...The second one was funny...I didn't like the way it ended though...

LOL I love Horror flicks!Cool thread.
The first horror movie I ever remember watching was "An American Werewolf in London"it scared the hell outta me.First off my parents were out to a party and I was alone with my older brother,he was already in his room asleep. We lived in the sticks and I can remember sitting in my dads recliner(which was right by a huge double pane glass door looking out into our backyard into the woods.I could hardly watch the movie for looking over my shoulder out the glass just waiting to see a werewolf there. Man those were the good ol days when movies actually scared you.I just love them for what they are now, unfortunately they no longer have the same effect on me!That movie scarred me for a long time lol. I would have to say Dawn of the Dead(remake) was the last good horror movie ive seen. |

Yah that one scared the poop out me too. lol. Clive Barker's "The Thing" gave me nightmares for years. I had a German Sherperd at the time and for like 2 months straight i would not be alone with him cuse i just knew he would turn into one of those freaky alien dogs from the movie. Makes me laugh when i think about it.
I would have to say Dawn of the Dead(remake) was the last good horror movie ive seen. |
