I'm not surprised that Ellen's is the Fifth. I'm much more intrigued by the revelation that the Five lived on Earth 2,000 years ago, and that even though they were apparently caught off-guard by Earth's destruction, they (or at least Ellen and Saul) were still apparently aware that they were destined to be reborn - for whatever ultimate reasons, we still don't know...but as of tonight, we're starting to.

So the quetion remains what type of role Ellen is going to in the rest of the season, flashbacks, download, or something more.

Adama sobers up and announces they are jumping to a different star system to try to find a new home. D'anna says she is staying on Earth and Tigh wanders into the ocean and remembers the day the planet died, and how Ellen told him that day that they would be reborn and be together.

Anybody jump in if I missed something.

I must say that pretty much covers it very well.

God I love this show! Total shock Ty's woman was the last cylon. I didn't hear from anyone she may be the 5th...............I'm glad I had my helmet on cause they just blew my mind.

Looks like she felt there was no hope left now that they had found Earth and found what was left of it, and wanted to die happy. Hence why she say's what she says (pay attention to when her and Lee are in the ready room), especially right before she kills herself.


My guess is she wanted out, but wanted to go out on a good note. :(
