OK without telling you anything. Nap during the 1st 40 minutes of the movie. Then go to the bathroom and take healthy 10-15 minute dump. Then you will walk into the theater and laugh so hard that you will be glad you took that poop. If lucas is embarrassed about the 78 special, this film will be considered his comic revival. Itchy Lumby and Maula were serious characters compared to the new members of the star wars universe. I didn't stay for the closing credits but I suspect there had to be a dedication to Harvey Corman. Bea Arthurs super sexy dance moves can now be considered serious Star Wars lore after this film. Thanks George that was worth every penny. This is the funniest film I've seen in years. PS, If you didn't find this funny stop taking your values and cues in life from a movie. Another words if you are offended grow up |

PS, If you didn't find this funny stop taking your values and cues in life from a movie. Another words if you are offended grow up hahaha, that cracked me up. Seriously though, I won't bad mouth anyone who liked this, but as an oldschool Star Wars fan myself, this was just not very enjoyable. Im not a huge fan of the prequels, but I will agree that they do have their high points, but the original trilogy still holds the belts for me. Some light spoilers below--- But this just felt like a step backwards, like it wasn't even part of the star wars series. While some of the gun fights were fun to watch, the kung fu moves the clone troopers threw was kinda disjointed, and they really made the droids out to be a bunch of Abbot and Costellos. Seriously, the jedi are having trouble in a war against these guys? Jabba's son, uh....ok. The cutesy nicknames were a bit over the top for me too...SkyGuy?...Stinky the hutt??... And don't get me started on Ziro the Hutt. Gay Droopy, that is all I can say. The animation was okay, I know this was made to be a tv show, but the lightsaber battles were too jerky and sporadic, I couldn't really tell what was goin on when they were going at it. The first thing that felt wierd about the movie, was the WB logo at the beginning. It's wierd, but it's like not seeing the Fox trumpets logo took me out of the 'star wars' mood. Then there was NO CRAWL!!! A star wars related feature in the theater, with no crawl?! Again, it just took me out of the star wars atmosphere. It felt like a fan-made cartoon made by non-fans. Maybe it will be better when the series comes out.

I was actually suprised that most of theater was laughing. People in Western PA are really dumb. Sorry it's true. We had press passes last week and overslept. So we decided like always we would go with true fans at the midnight.WE ARE OLD.BUT LOVE OUR 80's LORE We almost forgot to get tickets because we bought a small house and have been consumed by that for weeks. We are really proud of it. Also we are lucky and blessed to have that. However it was !!:30 and my wife reminded me its time for the big movie. I actually wanted to go but didnt think we could get tickets. Prices were reduced and everyone laughed. But georgey is a great writer because ziro is the MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what's shocking is that there are still people interested in this awful franchise and thought it would be good. |
