Actually, I thought the new guy looked a heck of a lot like Frank Castle. Somewhere between the original Marvel Spidey Team-up era and the Tim Bradstreet design. Thomas Jane was a little too pretty, and his hair was a little too dyed.

I just hate how The Punisher swings upside down on a chandelier in the trailer, if i'm directing, that scene never gets made that way and we come up with a GOOD less stupid acrobatic way of wiping out a room of bad guys.
There's no spinning chandelier Punisher's in my imagination. Also, the XBOX 360 game "army of two" and the main character wardrobes would be a cool little bit of inspiration for some Punisher ass-kicking urban combat gear. Homemade armor plating to annihilate a room of bad guys. I think Ray Stevenson looks pretty freaking perfect as the Punisher in my book. I am still pessimistic for this movie but that doesn't mean I want some studio hack to take over production and ruin any chance it has of success.

That gives her more credibility than Uwe Boll so I'll sit and wait this one out.

There's a bit more depth to the Punisher than a skull shirt, so the fact that he isn't wearing one doesn't automatically mean that they haven't got him 'right', surely.

This movie lost my attention when Thomas Jane said punisher fans would be disapointed with the new direction and thats why he left.

All I ever heard from anyone involved in Warzone is that they were trying very hard to keep the Bradstreet aesthetic and that it would take place in New York.
Bravo New York. The Punisher, in 34 years, has only ever looked like that on the covers of the Ennis Stuff. I always thought that guy was kind of skinny to be the Punisher. I also always thought that the Punisher parted his hair. I guess it was crucial to eliminate that to make this third outing on the character successful. I'm psyched about Jigsaw. I'm not sure what to expect. Nothing in cinema will ever top Dolph Lundgren fighting an army of ninjas. F**K Ch**k Norris.

I have a liking for the Dolph Lundgren version myself, and I ain't ashamed to admit it!!
I can see the new version becoming an "Alan Smithee" film.
