i was never a huge tf fan, it was just some ok stuff to me. but tha movie was decent, tha worst part about it to me was tha actual battles between autobots and decepticons were limited and tha humans had too big of a role in takin out tha decepticons

man, that movie was junk. Transformers that didn't even look like Transformers. No Spike. No Soundwave. No interplay between Megatron and Starscream. A love story. The only thing it had that was anything close to the feel of Transformer was the transforming vehicles. Lame, and a waste of time.

Sucked it was not TF........like with GI Joe if you wanna make a movie and use Names Like SE...Op...Megs....Star Scream...Duke....Scarlett...CC....Have the Characters act the way they were in the comics and cartoon.......if you dont want to go that route still call it TF or GI Joe but use new unheard of characters.........

I hated this movie almost as much as Pirates 3, but I'm glad they made it because then I wouldn't have started collecting G.I. Joe.

As I've said before, I liked it the first time I saw it and was most impressed by the special effects.

Attempting to watch it a second time, I could barely get through it.

I understand the need to re-invent things. But this re-invention did not appeal to me much in the long run. And I hate the design of the movie Transformers. They're all Insecticons!

Remove Peter Cullen and Megan Fox from the film and I don't think I could get through it at all.

I'm still going to see ROTF but I have low, low, low expectations and I'm taking a flashlight and a book to read while Shia is nonono-ing his way through his scenes.

i liked the movie and i'm a huge tf fan. was it the tf's we grew up with, no. buth then why should it be? are we so tied to our youth that we are unable to accept that things change? sure there were some disappoinments but there always are with movies coming from a rich history. take it for what it is, the next generations tf movie, not the remake of the classic.

st fans are going thru the same debate right now. i thought the movie was excellent despite some obvious liberties. it's not the wrath of khan for sure but was an excellent movie.

gi joe worries more than any of these did. the trailers just don't have an much to them to me. what we did see, most had problems with. again, i do not expect this to be a retelling of the original. those that do, well, your going in with widely unrealistic expectations.

TF sucked hard.

Too many story plot lines, and none were really resolved.

The whole Witwicky family situation was never fully developed or told.

If all a TF had to do was scan something, then why didn't they all scan Battleships or Aircraft carriers, or just scan the next vehicle that they wanted to be?

The Section 7 or whatever the name of that $#itty organization was unecessary.

And my favorite stupid thing in the movie.......why on Earth if you find a alien robot frozen in the arctic, take it to the hottest place in the United States? Why take it to the desert?

These are just a few of the issues with the story.

Terrible story. Terrible movie.

Too many cooks spoiled the broth. Star Trek was treated with love and care. Transformers was treated with marketing. GI Joe:ROC?
