I was all excited about getting new Thundercats figures..until I realized either Mattel or Bandai will end up withe the license. I could probably tolerate a Bandai line (their Ben 10 stuff is okay), but I fear Mattel will snag this after skipping Teen Titans and Ben 10, only to ruin the whole damn thing with their usual crap.
I'll be optimistic about this, although I HAVE to say that the TNI guys are REALLY fooling themselves if they think they'll be getting DCUC styled figures of the Thundercats. If Mattel gets the license and puts forth a Classics Line just like MOTU, theres gonna be A LOT of happy people. I personally could care less with what they do with the new stuff. |

read that a writter for the original show was found murdered the other day.
despite the bad news this does have some promise.

Okay this sounds great. I loved the Thundercats growing up.
I will say this however, why can't these companies make any NEW relevant stuff. Why do so many production companies have to rehash old stuff? Can't they think of an original idea? No!? Again I loved the Thundercats growing up but don't need a new cartoon. I'll watch it and I'm sure I'll enjoy it but I'd appreciate and enjoy a NEW cartoon even more. Original ideas can't be lost. |

Someone just got the license for a bunch of classic Thundercats statues and not sure if figures were included but any new show is sure to have a toy line. Fingers crossed for Mattel.

OH now that is great news! i can see it now...an army of thunder-tanks with the cobra sigil emblazoned across the top of the cargo area that houses the canon...can we rule out rubber treads?...i would be surprised if they make a thunder-tank like we remember it from the original...if we even get a vehicle...i was surprised we got the A-Team van...but then again it was shown in the movie
