Some of the best action sequences I've seen in a long time. This is definitely the kind of skill level for Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow that G.I. Joe 2 should be aiming for! What do you think?

Sho Kosugi did great as the evil sensai, been awhile since he did a ninja movie. Course the irony is that he is a real life master of ninjitsu and his 1st movie he did as a ninja he was the heel. 30 yrs later hes back being the heel again instead of the hero.

I loved this movie and for some odd reason found it at my local grocery store on the 5.00 rack! Saw it in the theatre and loved and pop it on now and again and still enjoy it.
After seeing Rain's interviews and how "Americanized" he seems, and a really humble dude for a guy with a name like "Rain"...I thought now THIS is Storm Shadow! All that Ninja bullcrap in ROC was just that. It greatly strayed away from what we knew from ARAH and just came off "fake". Had they infused the action and the over all serious, dark and "deadly" feel the ninja's had in Ninja Assasin...I think they wouldve been better off. This was a fun movie with a head nod to all those old video store greats we rented back in the 80's. I would love to see some kind of sequel...a continuing adventure. We have a rouge ninja who disrespected his clan for all the right reasons...living in Europe. There's gotta be more story in there somewhere! |
