I'm guessing that was Storm that Cerebro showed Charles. Another possible continuity goof that I noticed is that in X3, Eric & Charles go to see Jean Grey. However, it sure seemed much later then 1983 when they did that, after they went their separate ways. |

I don't remember if they actually said her name in Wolverine. It could be just another blond girl that has the same diamond powers. Fans just assumed she was Emma (which makes sense going by what is shown). The lady Wolverine was after said she was her sister & I don't think her last name was Frost.

I had also assumed that the Professor X/Magneto/Jean Gray flashback was happening in the early 80's. But if you'll notice all of the cars on the street and the classic car that X and Magneto roll up in seem to be more from the late 50's/early 60's. |

I watched X Men Origins: Wolverine last night after getting back from First Class. The diamond girl that you mentioned is never referred to by name in the movie. However in the credits she is listed as Diamond Mutant/Emma. No last name is given.

But if you'll notice all of the cars on the street and the classic car that X and Magneto roll up in seem to be more from the late 50's/early 60's. So basically, Singer and Vaughn seem to be trying to write X3 and XMO: Wolverine out of the (future) timeline, unless Jean Grey was a LOT older than she looked in the original X-Men movies, or the timeline of the films was shifted to the late 80's or something. |

That 5 second appearance (cameo) of Wolverine was way better than the whole Xmen Origins: Wolverine movie. Just saying.

"They" just couldn't do it, could they? They had to cram that silly hairdo and disposable tough guy attitude into yet another X-anything. That sucks.

Or that it was anything more than a 5 second cameo that provides probably the funniest moment of the entire film. |

I hionestly think Fox would have demanded Wolverine in there if Vaughn hadnt done it.maybe they did?
anyway it was well done but like I say so was Rebecca Romjins as Mystique.also enjoyed seeing Storm through Cerebro. the biggest gaff for me is that Prof X is walking in Wolverine and X3.....but them again he was in and out of a wheelchair in the comics too. |

That's why they changed the name of the franchise to Wolverine and all those other guys. |
