so today i was at target and they had the heman cartoons on dvd, they had season1 and 2, i think they were 16.99 a set. does anyone know if they are worth anything. i was thinking about biuying them just to watch.

They are worth whatever you are willing to spend on them. The he-man cartoons have gotten amazing treatment in dvd form and they are well worth picking up.

If you are referring to the 2002 He-man and the Masters of the Universe DVDs, I would highly recommend picking them up. They are worth the money. The 2002 show is the best cartoon revamp of an 80s property yet. It's great for hard core and casual MOTU fans. Heck, its a great cartoon even if you don't know anything about He-man.

It's too bad the series was pulled so early. The DVD's are great fun.

I remember reading somewhere that the guys that did it want to do some direct to DVD movies continuing the series.

I still prefer the Filmation original. Too often it gets dismissed as 'cheesy' when I think it had great warmth, integrity and a remarkably strong moral center (moreso than most other cartoons of the era combined)

I will have to pick these up.Everytime i go to the store,i always pick them up and stare.At that price,thats cheaper than most DVDs alone.

I was never a huge fan but the 2002 He Man rocked! I will pick these up sometime down the road.
