The trailer actually embarassed me - It looked like it was made for and by 12 year old kids. When the trailer thrusts words like "sexy" in my face, I know to start worrying.

I heard there was no nudity in it. I lost all interest at that point.

Corndog, I always looked forward to your posts for Rosario Dawson and the corndog on the red-and-white checkered napkin. Now... no longer :(

The movie COULD have been good if it was like the trailers. BUT snyder threw in all these rape undertones and the unnecessary burlesque aspect, and it made it almost uncomfortable to watch. Sadly the 30 mins out of 2 hrs or so of action could not make up for the rest.

Same here, it was a great movie to look at visually, as for the plot I just went along with it, I mean sometimes I can't get into that "makes no sense" argument with such a straight out fantasy movie. That said, I thought that last 15-20 minutes (following the train sequence) felt pretty rushed through. Like someone was like.. "well this movie doesn't have much more time left so let's just rush to the ending." I still have faith in "Man of Steel." With Nolan producing and Goyer having a hand in the story, I think that will help keep that movie on track.

So, what you are saying is that we need to watch it in the privacy of our home so that our junk can hang free so we can be comfortable. LOL!
