It was great to finally meet you at NJCC today, it's always good to place a face to the name that's been showing us all of the great stuff that MJ has been giving us. Sorry I didn't get to speak to you after I saw you at the booth, but I wasn't feeling well and had to leave early. See you next NJCC!
thanks man, I am glad you like it, to be honest he was not terribly challenging on the engineering aspects, the tedious part was the paints on both of them and sculpting of the figure's chest and back armor.
ok so I found one mention of you on episode 4 around minute 53 or 52 JoeCustoms.com > JoeCustoms.com Podcast , that is just one mention of your work out of several man, here they talk about doing your sponge digital camouflage pattern technique.
ok maybe they were just polling what they thought were the best in that year, hahah I'm sorry for the vague info man I honestly can't remember which episode, I listened to hours of pod casts over several days, for the life of me I have no clue where but they did mention you
They mention who competed and who was close, one mentioned your stuff then they said something along the lines of "yeah that guy made this really awesome custom everyone is now imitating, the paints were awesome etc... But the judges chose another but it was close among like 5 people"
yeah dude I was listening then I heard the name pronounced correctly "Tier one'er" ( I all along had wrongly for some reason thought it was somehow a play on words for "trying") then I heard about the grave digger and the how great the paints were and It clicks, I am like " I know that guy!!!" hahaha
