Yes, Dialtone is one of cool looking characters that doesn't get enough recognition. Hasbro needs to do more updated figures of that character like the Sonic Fighter and Brazil Mission versions
you got to put up some pics of your work so i can see them. I have most of the parts for a dail tone but dont have them all. I'd like to see you take on him.
ok there is a possibility for fogging but you need to was your figure with soap and water, then paint using modelmaster acrylics, or other quality acrylics then once your paint has fully dried and cured go for multiple light coats of the testers paint. I have noticed that if you use lacquer from lowes, or other stores the figure will get shiny somewhat tacky and uneven in color if/when the figure gets hot. I DONT really recomend using lacquer but I do recomend the standard flat enamel from testors. In many of my figures the flat coat has done a wonderful job of blending colors and of hiding painting issues. check out my customs (they are from when i first started) but still are a good example of what a good flat clearcoat can do.
hey, awesome! I live in bristol right down the weaver pike. I'd love to get together and compare notes on customs and swap parts and such. I cast heads and build lots of customs. anyway send me a private message with your number and we'll work something out.
