(or tell me later after you post it) You keep this up and a year from now I can't wait to see what you come up with! I hope you don't mind if I ask you for ideas now and again too when I get stuck.

One idea if I need completely flat thin pieces (maybe you do something similar?), press some greenstuff between two plastic pieces (such as cut up blister packs) and roll something cylindrical over the top until you get your desired thickness of greenstuff between the sheets. Later you can remove the plastic and cut your desired sizes. I’ve also done this with bent pieces of plastic to make angles and corners. The 3 chest and abdomen armor pieces on this guy for example, were all made by pressing greenstuff between pieces of transparent bent plastic (except the collar):
This tip won’t help with Teela of course, (not that you needed it.)

I also talked about casting with hot glue in my WIPS thread. For pieces that all need to look identical, I just love the way greenstuff presses into the cavities of dried hot glue. If you plan it right it also comes out easily. I could tell you more about that if you want.

Let me know how those work out. I only know the few things I’ve tried and will share more when I get a chance. I like thinking about these kinds of puzzles. Great work on Teela’s Head by the way!

We were talking about sculpting and I thought I’d compare notes with you here instead. With greenstuff I tend to have to return to it about an hour and a half or two hours later and reshape it a little to make it look better. Do you find that to be true? It’s way too sticky at first. I’ve tended to only use it for organic shapes though, and would struggle with all of the smooth, even shapes you’ve been going for. Sometimes I’ve tried mashing greenstuff into smooth containers of the right size and shape. I’ve used blister pack plastic, bent with the right corners etc and let the greenstuff set in there. I could tell you more if that sparks anyinterest.

Cool, it shows. Although I didn’t watch those cartoons enough to remember the stories well anymore, your customs still remind strongly of moments of wonder looking at the visuals and hearing the music. It all fueled my imagination and it’s a fun place to return to. I know people admire more than they comment - guilty of that myself. I’m left to wonder whether anyone cares about what I post sometimes too. But that reminds me to just do it because I love it, and if I don’t care about it I probably shouldn’t bother working too hard on it anyway. That’s more of an ideal that a strict rule for me though, because I care what people think more than I wish I did. Thanks for answering my question.

Hey Flint Rocks thanks for your reply. When you get a chance tell me which of your creations has been your favorite to make. I still dig the crook with the swivel down guns in his chest. You really took me by surprise with that one.
