Hey man, I tried to send you a message a while back but it must not have went through. Things are going good, getting married on Sunday. Been refining my customs techniques and I think I've finally found something I'm going to stick with. I'll check out your new stuff you mentioned later on today. I've posted a few since last time too.

I'm thinking of only using a clear on certain pieces and leaving others without because I really only intend to display them and not do any dios or playing or anything. I do still dremel down the joints just in case. I just finished a Dial Tone custom and the only part I have clear coated so far is his hair because he has a removable beret and I didnt want it to damage the head paint. Right now I'm thinking of leaving it as is because it only has a small amount of shine to it very similar to factory paint.

I'm in Piney Flats. I've only done a few customs so far as I have been buying up a bunch of fodder, head casts, and supplies. I've been trying to experiment with my paints and whether or not to use a clear coat as some people say they fog over time. I recently bought some Model Masters Acryl Flat Clear and need to experiment with that. I'm just scared of the fogging issue.

I didn't take any offense to your remark... it put me in check and that is ok. thanks for the compliment on the customs. as for ODU, my wife and I were in the Navy and I was stationed up there from 1997-2004 then i transfered from the navy to the va national guard. anyway, if you have any custom ideas or any ideas on how i can better my customs let me know. look forward to hearing from you again.

Spelling is one of those things that not many people concern themselves with, typically I've noticed that most people are happy if you can figure out the point they are trying to convey...I'm just a bit of a lexophile (hiss tank spell check doesn't know this word)...so don't take any ribbing about spelling personally, I can be a bit of an ass, but it's all in good fun...ODU...I miss VA, used to live in Norfolk for about 8 years before my father retired and moved us to BFE (aka Springfield, MO)...

...customs look good...gave me a few ideas for some of the parts still sitting in my Frankenstein-Bin...now I just need a fresh brain or two and a good storm...
