It would be great technology for hostile environments where air dropping large vehicles is impossible.

I can only remember because it's the first October Guard issue.

The sets from the nearly unreleased wave (Hiss tank, Patriot Grizzly, Joe HQ, etc) were all really good. They blend fairly well with the regular vehicles, and it was fun to think about the Joes being able to construct stuff in the field - like in that early issue where they build the snow vehicle.

I had a ton of the sets from the old 80s Lego Town line. Had the hospital, Legoland Hotel, Exxon Station, but my favorite was the Motorcycle Shop.
These sets couldn't have been too expensive back then because my parents didn't have a lot of money, yet we had a ton of this stuff. |

I usually don't stray from LEGO, as all my past experiences with alternative companies just can't compare. I don't understand how non-LEGO companies still can't make blocks fit eachother right. I'm sure LEGO doesn't have a patent on "quality." I bought one of those Halo MEGA BLOKS, and the mini-fig is amazing, but the vehicle itself doesn't fit together well at all. WHAT GIVES?!

Yeah, Yojoe.com has a really helpful and informative section on Joe BTR stuff. It shows all the vehicles and figures. All the blocks were capable of working with Legos. You should check it out - there's stuff on ebay all the time.

I'm just saying, if y'all like Joes and Legos, you should check out the BTR stuff on Yojoe.com and ebay.
