So I will be leaving after work tonight, in order to start the drive down. I'll be heading to my bud's place in Atlanta, and then we will drive over to Chattanooga for Saturday morning.
It's a 12 hour drive, and my wife's work won't let her off; so I'll be doing the drive solo. She has been doing everything in her power to try to dissuade me from going. Today she's hitting me with the "I've paid bills, now don't have any money" speech. Btw I'd previously offered to pay either or both, so she would have cash, but that doesn't fit her plan, you see. So should I be feeling bad about something that I've waited so long to do? I tell ya, this guilt-trip stuff is for the birds. |

My ex-wife complained that I never saved money. Even though I'd pay the bills, I never kept a "reserve" for the future, and I was virtually incapable of saving. So I saved money for six months and went to Botcon 2007 - international trip - and spend 2 grand there.
We got a divorce in 2010.

And here's what I've been up to recently: Now I know the scales may be a little off the map on some models. In my mind though, the mini lego trophy guy fits this scale well. What do you guys think? |

Scale looks great, and with microscale I think the important thing is accepting the compromises of the scale and building something identifiable. YOu have achived that imo

Thanks guys! Those HISS tanks are my close copies from Stormgard's micro builds on Flickr. https://www.flickr.com/photos/782249...7629094132387/
My design is super close, only a couple pieces are different The inspiration for my Imperial Shuttle came from seeing an online pic. I hadn't realized until later, that the picture was of an official Lego set #20016. Along those lines, Lego also makes a fair interpretation of a micro Slave 1. That's Lego pn# 20019 fyi ;) The Tie Fighter is also inspired from an online pic. Hell I guess the only things I've designed are the two variations of my micro Rattler. And well even that was just a modified design of someone's A10 micro build. I guess some people may not appreciate my copies of their designs, but I do try to at least give credit to them. Really, I'm just happy to have my own versions to display And my Lego Space Shuttle looks a better fit in this scale as well, don't you think? |

I've had quite a few custom extras kreons put together for a while now. I would keep these and some more incomplete kreons showing, to kind of remind me to finish my projects. The problem is that they are taking up valuable shelf space. I figured I would show them before I boxed them up.
Here's what I would classify as the Bad Guys faction Now the other squad: I guess in my mind, they would be like extras cast in a production. So with a few exceptions, I haven't really tried to think of names/specialties for these guys. Any suggestions? Scarface still in lockup!
(Maybe he's heading out to the yard for some PT? Well maybe Psyche-Out is there for a different reason) I guess in my mind, I've got multiple joe-verses' running through various continuities, all at once. Check out who's all coming to help bust him out! Last edited by stealthy slim; 07-09-2018 at 07:12 PM.. |

I'm wondering if anyone has tried to do a lego version of Zartan's shack yet? Maybe something with flip around consoles, like in the comic?
-Should it have a pier/dock for the various swamp/water borne vehicles? I've seen a couple lego police sets that look somewhat close, but nothing hits home just yet. |
