I really like your's, it is very much on the right track. The nicest one I have seen done in lego is this:https://www.flickr.com/photos/623459...-cJrK83-5imtTZ
Would love to own a lego version Here's one of the pics from that photostream. Thanks for posting the flickr link, sapperldr ;) Yeah I always forget the before pics too :/ Thanks for letting us have a look at it

I really liked how the gray bricks blended in to make the camouflage pattern. Perhaps you could update the ldd model?

I have indeed started work on one, it's coming together nicely, if I may say so. Only problem is that I don't have certain bricks in an appropriate color, but will eventually. Like the above pictured one, I'm mixing in some grey here and there. I'm making sure to work in all the features; rear door, rotating rear fan, belly turret, and so on. I also have a "secret weapon" idea for the canopy that I'm going to keep under wraps until the reveal. This is fun.

looks awesome! I don't have the time to attempt one, but I would definitely like to try some day, or if geewunner just puts one out Id be happy with that, my joe force is seriously lacking behind my cobra force.

I had two of the original Tomahawks when I was little. I have lots of great memories of those vehicles…
Here is my first try at a Lego scale version. I actually like this version much better than the original Hasbro version. It is much more "playable" and customizable. On thing that always bothered me about the original toy was the lack of side doors on the troop bay. Well, that's easily fixed with blocks! Side doors closed by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr If we open the doors we can see seating for a squad of 6 troops. Side doors open by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr This is the back of the helicopter. The tail fan spins and the bay door opens. Tail section by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr Here is the bay door when it is closed. Bay door Closed by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr Here is is open, with an Armadillo being offloaded. Bay door Open by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr Armadillo offloading by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr Here is a closeup of the cockpit. I'm sad I don't have a Lift Ticket for it… Cockpit closeup by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr These are closeups of the armaments. Chin turret by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr Missile rack closeup by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr These are closeups with the side doors open. Both side doors open by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr Lowlight at the door gun by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr Another improvement on the original: The blades fold in to reduce parking footprint. Folded blades for Carrier storage by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr The best improvement though is that the cargo space is configurable for different missions. Here are four basic options: med bay, seating, armadillo, devilfish. Any three of these can fit inside at once! All of the Cargo options by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr Here we are, ready to deploy! Ready to deploy by Laurance Hiller, on Flickr Thanks for checking out my Tomahawk! Larry

Very much looking forward to the Geewunner version, but I love your's minitrue. The addition of the side door's is very nice! I just went through your flickr feed, you have done some great vehicles(loved the Modok/AIM tank).
