I am from Denmark and love Lego (as that is where they are from). I even went to high school with the founder's great grandson Ole Christensen and he gave the whole class free season passes to Legoland in Billund, DK. However, I feel with Mega Bloks Halo and Call of Duty, you get far more value for the money. The sets stay together just as well as the Lego brand and that is not a lie. Personaly, I laugh to myself and wonder if true Lego loyalist actually believe that the competition is that far an inferior product and know that they are full of themselves that refuse to "mix the chocolate with the peanut butter". It is just an elitist attitude, in my opinion.
Personally, I think Kre-O bricks are probably second only two LEGO, but at the same time Kreons are some of the worst minifigures in all of the "big" building block sets. I just don't really like the aesthetics of Kreons (Except the Transformer minifigures, where the blocky look works a lot better) plus, Kreon minifigure QC seems to be some of the worst out there. Pre-stressed parts, joints that don't fit right, heads that sometimes don't stay on, loose limbs, poorly applied decals/paint. Kreons have it all. At least with like, Megabloks, if you don't like the brick quality, the minifigures are something that are sort of in their own category entirely. They're nice little, highly detailed, highly articulated action figures if nothing else.

I just picked up one of those Sluban Military sets. I was surprised at the quality, as I was assuming they would be as bad as Best Lock/Kid Connection sets. I would have to say the set I've gotten is very close to Kreo (Oxford) quality. The other thing about the Sluban set is, the dark olive green is a pretty close match to Kreo.

What I was meaning about the colors being so close, is that this could be a resource for additional parts. For instance, couldn't you see something like this turning into an APC?
