Well Geewunner has said there should be a possible Hisstank set coming out soon that he got from a Hasbro source. So there's that....

My opinion is that they fumbled the line right from the start. There's very little demand for it. I don't see it lasting much longer if at all. On a business standpoint, if you don't have a holiday plan to boost sales, i.e. - a new wave of toys, then the project is definitely backburner or just plain burned.
If there is nothing new in the first Q of 2015, there won't be anything at all.

Blind bags always seems to sell well. I like the sets, but I could live without them as long as they keep making the kreons. If the whole thing goes belly up, I'd like to see the club offer a KSS to produce some of the main characters that weren't part of the retail line. FSS for 6 months then KSS for the next 6 months. Joes all year long.

If Hasbro truly wants the GI Joe line of kre-os to not only continue but prosper then they need to expand the retail locations, having toys r us being the only place to find them limits consumers, they need to open this up to target, wal-mart, Kmart etc and do exclusives for each store as they did for the 3 3/4" line otherwise this is a doomed line which is a shame because there is tons of potential and a lot that has been released are pretty good products.

I will wait till toyfair before I see the line is dead
I just don't really see it happening as why would they go out with such a huge set if there wasn't going to be more? Seems risky on their part. |

Well this is good news, I wasn't aware of this. I wonder if it will be different than the Dojo Hiss tank.

The official Kre-O website only has a few sets listed on it and doesn't look like it's ever been updated. It certainly gives the impression that Hasbro has never taken the entire line very seriously.

Hasbro WANTS KreO to be a contender in the building block market, but you can't make retailers take what they don't want, especially with players as entrenched as Lego and Mega Bloks.

I feel that is more representative of their poor online management. GI Joe's core web page hasn't been updated in nearly two years, and Transformers pretty much only sees one with a major brand revision (and for what it's worth, Kre-O IS on the main Transformers page)
