Okay, Im late to the game but Im still enjoying the hell out of it. Since Hasbro is doing the big azz TD, what else might we see? The larger and medium sets are being cleared out quick enough, Ive only seen wave 3 and one figure from wave 2. I know we are onto wave 5 and wave 4 has possibly been bought by a retailer for exclusivity (gotta wait and see) I think Hasbro is realizing that it has hit a nice combination of lower prices, variety and classic/arah GI JOE. GI JOE adventurer along with Atomic Man and BulletMan is a nice nod to the past, especially for us older folks.
....Getting back on track....so what, if Hasbro is saying OK to keeping Kre-O Joe on the shelf, what do you think is next or coming?? I can easily see them putting out a USS FLAGG along with a Sky Striker with folding wings and a Cobra Raptor. USS FLAGG XP-14 SKYSTRIKER COBRA RAPTOR X-30 CONQUEST X-19 PHANTOM DEFIANT SPACE COMPLEX OR AT LEAST A SHUTTLE/CRUSADER KILLER WHALE POLAR SHARC SHARC NIGHT RAVEN I would really like to see the HISS TANK on its own. The Cobra Armored Assault vehicle is just JOE goodness to the max, I like the six wheels and would really like to see more vehicles of this nature and perhaps include different weapon systems that you could change out--turret to missile rack etc. I think a BLACKHAWK would be incredible as well as an LCAC (yeah I know MB has done one and is doing another but it would be nice if Hasbro did to.) Ive seen a few other vehicles from the TRUE HEROES line and I have to tell you, Im getting even more interested, especially with the jets and tanks. So what do you want to see on the shelf? Army Builders? Building sections? |

BanBao 8242 Aircraft Carrier | Other Brick
The article states that this is rather old, but it was sold for around 250$ at retail and found, at its lowest $50 on ebay. Its not perfect and certainly not to scale, but it does show that its possible. Im thinking with the street plates from LEGO and some non LEGO brands, this could so totally be done. http://izismile.com/2012/09/11/cool_...r_19_pics.html Last edited by Skipper; 09-06-2014 at 02:23 PM.. |

That DIY Lego aircraft carrier is fantastic!
I would really like to see some focus on some early 1982-84 Joe Vehicles along with getting us some missing Joe members. - MOBAT w/Steeler, cobra trooper, and maybe Dusty because we need him. $25 set. - Heavy Artillery Laser with Grand Slam and Buzzer with Ferret $13 set. - Tamahawk with Lift Ticket and Barbeque along with a Rattler with Wild Weasel. $40 set. - SHARC with Deep Six along with Cobra Moray with Lamprey and Cobra Trooper. $45 set. - WHALE with Shipwreck and Airtight vs Croc Master. $50 set. - GI Joe Headquarters with Black Hiss Tank includes Grunt, Zap, Covergirl, Hiss Tank Driver, Hooded Cobra Commander, Cobra Officer, and Cobra Trooper. Also comes with Joe Attack Glidder and a couple more Trouble Bubbles. $100 set. Really when it comes down to it I just hope this line keeps going and going. There are still so many figures and vehicles that I would love to add to the collection. |

Something I'd really like to see before the end of the line is a Tiger Force/Python Patrol set.
I wouldn't care if it was two vehicles they'd already done remade in new colors, I'd just like bricks with the stripes/scale pattern printed on them. |

You guys are forgetting the Cobra Rattler and Wild Weasel.
Edit, ok, well, one of you remembered. |

Mea Culpa Uman.
Has anyone tried building the rattler or the skystriker? I know the KRE-O Starscream looks close, but I like the nose on the x-16 (just finished putting it together and scrounged some extra lego parts to build up the tail. I want to redo the engine and put a cone shaped piece instead of the one round column. Im thinking about buying a few extra x-16s and see where it goes. Lego has a VTOL cargo plane so that solves that issue with the rattler. The big engine pieces from lego should do the trick. Im thinking the swing wing on the skystriker can be done with that round swivel plate on each side and attatch the wings to that one swivel piece. this should allow for the tucked in position while at park. What do you think? |

I think a KRE-O version of the 1983 G.I. Joe HQ would be awesome.
