Just got a Kreo Optimus Minifig and thought it would be a good idea to show an exploded version along with a comparison vs Lego.
As a customizer I think the kre-o minifig will be a bit more difficult to customize, as it will take a bit more than just stickers (waterslides may be best). But the articulation is superior to Lego. The blocks and minifig (hand, feet and head connections) are 100% compatible with Lego blocks, and cape and headgear accessories. The hands, arms, legs, waist, and torsos are not interchangeable with Lego hands, arms, legs, waist, and torsos. The block quality and connection quality is as good as Lego.....unlike many other lego-like brands. Overall...I think they are pretty cool. What do you think?? *****************

I prefer Mega-Bloks figs, those things go insane with articulation and are as small as any Lego fig.

They were certainly pushing these at SDCC.

I have a great interest in the kreon mini-figs, zero interest in the big kreo sets.

I feel the same way. if they had sold these like the lego mini-figures are sold, I would be all over that.

Give it some time. This is a new product and they need to push the line and establish it before they branch out. Within the next year, I believe, we will see Kreon minifigure packages like the Lego and Halo figures.

I still find it pathetic that they make Transformers out of legs that can't transform like the actual toys (IE: BTR had to have you take the arms completely off them reattch elsewhere) I was able to do better (design wise) over 10 years ago: I would like the minifigures from the sets and I do hope they release them....but I'm not holding my breath given Hasbro's past track record with lego style toys |

That would be sweet! I hope they go in that direction!

I don't remember anything about BTR but having seen the KRE-O in person I don't think they are bad and they are definitely pushing the issue that they are "compatible" with Legos and starting with the Transformers brand should help especially during a movie release summer.
Well like Shogi said, I can only see the line being a failure as the reason why that isn't a future direction of KRE-O. Time will tell. For anybody that knows. How does KRE-O blocks compare to the company that makes HALO blocks?
