I hate HATE paper stickers. Ugh. Worst thing about the KreO sets.

G.I. Joe Kre-O gets my vote. I'm having all kinds of fun with the Transformers versions.
I agree 100% they need printed blocks but the Kreons are printed.

In the middle of putting my first Kre-O together right now. I got Sideswipe. So, far the bricks are on par with Lego. There are certainly some interesting pieces that are unique that I haven't seen in Lego pieces. I like the special dual material pieces for the robot joints. The rubber is molded onto the ball joint part, but the rest of the brick is the regular hard plastic. Very well done.
I'll take some pics next to my Lego Creator sports car as a comparison when I'm done. |

ive done 3 transformers kre-os now; prowl, jazz, and mirage.
the only issues i have had are with the stickers on the bots. the mirage directions tell you to put a sticker on a 3d curved surface and i had to cut some of the jazz stickers just to get them to fit. the bricks hold together very well. that was my main worry because of the mega blocks iron man i bought for my son. bring on gi joe!

A critical flaw I have found is on the bigger figures. The rubberized ball joints cannot hold up the weight. Therefore stability is gone. Joints can get loose quickly on the bigger figures. Not as bad on the arms, but clearly evident on the hips. LEGO, for years, apparently had problems on their Bionicle figures with joints cracking. With HERO FACTORY they seemed to have resolved this issue and the joints are tight. If Hasbro/Oxford can come up with a way to make detented or tighter ball joints, I'm all for it. Most of the KreO sets are more fun to me in bot mode, except for Starscream(haven't bought it yet). |

A lot of the breakages came from MOC'ers who were taking them apart and putting them back together for customs. I've never taken my Bionicle ones apart but took some Hero Factory ones apart.
