What do you predict will be the new comics published by the new publisher?
We already know ARAH is continuing. But, I also predict a new, Classified-continuity comic and perhaps a GI Joe/TF crossover. Here's hoping the new publisher doesn't neglect Zandar and his relationship (eerie!) with his twin sister Zarana.

Here's a hot take:
"Dreadnoks." Street-level vice. Nothing is taboo. Fentanyl, cocaine, meth smuggling. Human trafficking over the border. Prostitution. Gambling schemes. Arms deals? Maybe Voltar shows up for a story arc. Corrupt crypto fraud? A rep from Extensive Enterprises makes an appearance. The President's son needs a kilo of cocaine? Headman in the desert. Smuggling underage girls from South America for distribution into the government's internal sex trade? The Jugglers call in a favor and Cobra provides a security detail. The problem is so bad that a clandestine black books branch of the US military is trying to stop the madness at every level. Bulletproof, Law, Cutter, Chuckles, Mace, Leatherneck, Shockwave, and more street-level Joes are using force tactics to disrupt, but the Dreadnoks frequently win. Slaughter's Renegades are trying to infiltrate, but encounter resistance. And many of the military and government are aiding the Dreadnoks and facilitating their connections to various other bad actors, so the Jugglers play a part. Some of the Joes are not honest. The leader of the Dreadnoks keeps having moments of clarity and conscience, but his fellows keep dragging him back in. He continues to fight against his instincts and relishes the power.

I'd like to see another series or two set in the Hamaverse but written by someone other than Hama. Or have someone else take over ARAH and give Hama a special missions or Snake Eyes series. I'll read just about anything set in the Hamaverse provided it has a great art team.

Not going to happen. The Hasbro head of publishing department(i think that is the correct name for the division) has said Hama will continue ARAH/Hamaverse for as long as he wants to. Hama has said that he has been given the "write what you want" stamp of approval from all the powers that be. Nothing will change from what we have been reading except for the publisher and most likely the artists, unless the new publisher hires them too

Now what do i want from whatever else the new publisher puts out? I want a special missions type story. I want it to be a graphic novel approach...make it 100 pages or something. A select team of Joes battling COBRA or another organization for a specific purpose. Each graphic novel is a standalone story and can be read in any order you want. BUT none of them contradict story points in another, like if a character is killed in one story, they aren't alive in the next.

Or make ARAH biweekly. Alternate artists and storylines. Why sell just one issue of ARAH to a small but loyal fan base when you can sell two for twice the price?!?

We're over a month into 2023 and still no announcement of a new publisher. Someone here previously mentioned that an announcement may tie in with the new Transformers movie, which opens in June. Solicitations for June will be out in March. That said, in the past when a comic has tied in with a movie, it usually launches ahead of the movie. If that holds true for Transformers, a series could launch in May. And if that's the case, solicitations for May will be released later this month. Even if it's a just a Transformers title, at least we'll finally know who the publisher is...

I have a lot of skepticism about there even being a new publisher for sure. First of all, if Larry was writing issue 301 so long ago (aren't we near half a year ago since that announcement?) then there would already be artists multiple issues in by now. It would be hard to keep a lid on that. Also by now there would be multiple back issues in the can, and there's no money in that. The end of the IDW ARAH was three months ago. Realistically, the new publisher could have had issue 301 on the shelves a month later barring any contractual wait. How do we know there aren't still negotiations going on? Why should I trust Larry's statement when he could have just been writing issue 301 for himself with blind expectation of a new publisher? What logic is there for waiting to announce something? What if Skybound just fell through, was only a preliminary talk, or they read Larry's 301 and decided to back out?
