Arah #299

Just saw the preview of ARAH #299 up and got excited when I saw that Rod Whigham, Andy Mushynsky and George Roussos were listed on the credits. Apparently it?s a flashback sequence that appears on page 13 of #299.

Release date is October 19th. Normally previews are made available on the monday (though on occasion it is the week before when there has been a last minute delay). So I'd expect to see something 17th Oct.

I've tried searching but the only thing that Google turns up is this thread.

Could you upload the rest of the Disavowed episodes on your youtube channel? You could just have one static image running the entire video.

I do the digital version, and it was up in the iTunes Store. Shows the cover, credits page and page 1.

I see it now. I wonder if the flashback will be to issue 49 or 50…

I figure it?s either a Serpentor or a Snake-Eyes flashback. I was thinking with Storm-Shadow going along it would be a SE flashback.

Perhaps! There's only so many issues with Whigham/Mushynksy/Roussos, the first being #38, which features Billy on the brainwave scanner but this was pre-Mindbender (who first appeared in #44) so if the flashback is brainwave related, it would most likely be #49. But Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Billy are all heavily featured during this run and maybe Mindbender cloned one of them...

ETA: OK, the perfect issue that was #34 was the first with that art team but the run started with #38. My bad!

So then it will be just a reprint of old panels. Nothing to get excited about. I'm pretty sure George Rousos died years ago.
