Loved it. Silly and fun, just like the cartoon. It would be great if the next publisher could do a hybrid of this series and ARAH. Fun like this, but a little more mature like ARAH. And I think that Dan Schoening is the best Joe artist since Ron Wagner. Rod Whigham is the gold standard for me and Dan is right up there with him. His work on this series isn't as exciting as ARAH #278 (I know that's intentional) but I know what he's capable of and I want more of it.

Another fun read! Just goofy, 80s, read it while you eat a bowl of cereal fun. I agree Trooper13, I could see a 'kid' comic along these lines running continuously, and I would love to see some other characters tackled in a mini/maxi series similar to the Chuckles LAST LAUGH storyline.

Goodness, I can't tell you the last time I had this much FUN with a comic book. Maybe if they'd set this up as an ongoing, and a year earlier, IDW wouldn't be losing the license...

Yeah, this is overdue and just wonderful. Someone needs to find a way to continue it beyond IDW, or evolve it into a streaming series. I'd watch that with my kids in a heartbeat.

I'm loving this series so far!
That last panel really had me hankering for a G.I.Joe fighting game, though. |
