So here are two tongue-in-cheek "No Prize Explanations" I thought of::
1. "Christopher Lavigne is deliberate misinformation that was produced on the publicly-available file card to protect Bozigian's REAL identity".

Or:

2. "Christopher Lavigne was an alias Law used during his two years as a beat cop in Houston"

- “spotlighting the lesser-known Joes”, this story is pretty effective. Very few issues have spotlighted a single joe in the way this does. Reminded us of the Outback solo story from Special Missions.
- Larry writing the detailed mechanics, 2 pages to attach a red filter to his torch and then making a note to turn it off
•I spy – Back in #199 cobra troops were deserting, dumping their gear since they had transponders in their helmets - hence the cobra equipment scattered on the ground.
- error detected. As mentioned already, the large ventilation fan disperses the gas from inside the Pit, and we see the gas being expelled up through the quonset huts on the surface. The hits were already shown as being destroyed when we first saw the aftermanth of the cobra invasion back in issue 197. My no prize - what we are seeing in Law imagining the gas being dispersed. He hasn't been up to the surface and so he doesn't know the extent of the damage.
- The only joes previously shown as being at the Pit at this time were Snake Eyes + Scarlett, Falcon, Mainfraime, Psyche out. But i don't think it says definitively that there isn't anyone else there.
Hama time: Law is griping about how difficult it is to apply a field dressing - just as Ripcord did after being shot by Zartan.
• Uses of two of Larry's favourite expressions - “Suck it up and Charlie mike” , and “cluster Foul – up”
- Plus on the podcast Tim has a good old grumble about a word balloon covering up the cobra troops feet.

I’ve been looking for Vol 25 TPB to pop up on Amazon now that #24 (Snake Hunt 10 issues) has shipped. Anyone have the down-low on that?
