As a child I loved the t.v. series Captain Power and the soldiers of the future (written J M S of Babylon 5). The show was cool, and the toys tied into the series, you could shoot at the t.v. and it shot back!!!!
I often use my captain power vehicles and base for g.i. joe, am I the only one? Do you remember this show? If so your thoughts? Jessica (pilot was HOT)!!! |

i have fond memories of the Force Five stuff. Grandizer and Grandizer Z, GaiKing all that stuff.
battle of the planets...was super!!!! i am having a hard time remembering the name of that anime toon with/about the leader was in/on a glider-type flat one-man jet and his weapon was a staff...then the green guy had like a round-oval green ship. then the blue guy , etc... i know it wasn't Voltron. wish someone was old enough to remember. my cousin went to Europe one summer and came back with these toys which weren't sold over here. anyone?? |

Captain Power ROCKED! I loved the fact that the toys interacted with the TV show...it was AWESOME!
My two favorite figures were Tank (good guy) and Sauron (Bad Guy).... Wow, TK, you just brought back a ton of memories...Thanks! |

they used laser tag tech both on the show, and the toys, these are great, and I will be offering the entire first and only season on Ebay, starting this weekend, and C.I.A.D. if you didn't know if season 2 would have happened there would have been a second female character that would have joined the team, and the new hq would have been the arctic! (I know a lot about the show, and I'm proud that I own the toys and comics and the series......POWER ON! I'm now offering the entire original series on dvd (click my ebay button).

While the toys did not look like their TV counterparts, they were still very cool. I own some myself. Great little line.
As for the TV show. I LOVED it as a kid. I could see it was something different. Much like with Robotech. You had adult storylines; a grim setting; characters that died; etc. It's JMS.
