R.I.P. to A REAL American Hero

I was ten years old when my cousin Colin was born. The pride of the family, a polite, well mannered little boy.

Everyone loved him and admired him. He knew the right thing to do and he did it.

Great in school, and right into the service to protect the country after graduation.

This was a person I watched from birth to 21 grow into a great man. We played together, and even though he was so much younger than me, we had a awesome bond.

Iraq messed him up, broke his heart and soul. He was never the same man.

I'm not blaming anything or anybody, I just want everyone out there to know that my baby cousin died Sunday, and he was a war hero who was a casualty of war.

We don't have to philosophize about freedom and war, but I would like some shout outs for my own personal American Hero.
