I guess places like Dave and Busters are doing ok - they are sort of an arcade for drunks which is cool because chick playing video games is always awesome - and then add in a few cocktails.

I had a hot hand one night using the broke ass Lions...then this fat girl started talking to me about Ring Dings or whatever and I threw like 50 INTs. 10 bucks wasted. |

I lost the game and got nothing that night..except laughed at for using the Lions. This thread has officially put me in a bad mood. So yeah, I hope they bring back arcades and stuff. |

1st I was there with a really cool, attractive girl...who after I gave the fat one the time of day..just being nice, has not talked to me since. That was 2 years ago.

And you know they all have food in their refridgerators - so right before you sneak out of their house in the morning you can snatch a canned ham, some Ho-Ho's and a can of Easy Cheese for your pad. |

If they had games that would let you compete against players in other arcades, and had variable plans (like say, charging per hour instead of per game) then you might see a resurgence. It would require a fundamental rethinking of the traditional way they do business.
