Man, we bought a house 1.5 years ago. We have AHS warranty but they f*ck you every chance they get. We've had leaks, heat/ac issues, electrical problems, etc. Luckily, we haven't been out too much $$$ yet though. Sorry to hear it man.

i heard this and i dont know how true it is so take it with a grain of salt.
because of the housing boom the last 5 or so years they were throwing up houses left and right. To keep up with demand they used lesser then quality material and workmanship. the end result is a bunch of houses that will need an estimated 40k (per house) repair work over the next 10 years to just keep them from falling over.
