The only reality star worth knowing. Let me tell you I stopped watching MTV in the 90's when slowly they started phasing out other music...clearly they had a few artist they were gonna RAM down our necks and what made MTV such a great sucess was starting to become a top 20 radio format station. Since then I've found few shows worth watching...Jackass was one of them at least it was something differant, I also took some interest in their Pro Wrestling show but I think that was only on MTV2, I also enjoy Scarred...I mean come on they had a guy that literally tore himself a new a-hole...how could that not be worth watching? The final nail for me was the cancellation of Warren the Ape. I'm a big Greg the Bunny fan and was suprised to hear MTV had picked up Warren as a mock reality show but the damn show was brilliantly funny a great parody of todays reality shows with its cancellation I no longer have ANY reason to watch MTV at all. Aside from that I had hoped maybe MTV minus its music would at least be moving into some fun quirky programming...nope instead were gonna get the worst programming we can possibly have....washed up stars and a camera crew...with fake plot twists, and a fake look into a scripted life, or like Jersey Shore which is the same thing but minus washed up stars...instead we get a house of jerk offs and whores...great, really great. I'm starting to feel like the Rorschach of TV watching. Ooalb's Journal. October 12th, 2010: Cancelled show in alley this morning, tire tread on burst starlet. This TV is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The programs are extended gutters and the channels are full of blood and when the stations finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and reality shows will foam up about their waists and all the whores and programmers will look up and shout "Watch us!"... and we'll whisper "no." |

Hell I still watch MTV... Jersey Shore is a guilty pleasure.
Plus I still like watching the Challenge shows (RW/RR) They also gave Jackass a home and for that I'll always love MTV |
