^^^ I checked their site and it's not there anymore, though I saw it for about 1k on amazon.
That bit about "less noise"....that was basically the PC way of saying "If you need to murder someone in the stealthiest of fashions, this is it." |

Only thing I ever learned about fighting is to never do it, but if I do, to fight dirty. Soften the target up with some pepper spray, or table salt to the eyes, and then start swinging furniture. Yeah, I know, I'm a disgrace. People who aren't built like a Superman shouldn't try to fight like him though. If you're a nerd, go Lex Luthor.
As far as weapons, I used to have a real sword, but after a rather unfortunate accident (that's my story and I'm sticking to it) I only keep a wooden one now, which is fine as I can feel much less hesitation about using on another person. Also like to play with my crossbow once in a while, but I have yet to custom any trick arrows. |

Judoka here, although I'm a disgrace to Judo because I choose to use moves that resemble pro-wrestling moves... So I guess I'm more of a generic pro-wrestler, well it's actually puroresu, Japan's move-list is way more extensive and brutal. I have also dabbled in BJJ and MMA, I love me some leg-locks, GnP, and the larger list of puroresu moves I can use. I would have liked to learn Sambo, Kyokushin, and true Okinawan style Karate.
My hobby aside from collecting 3 3/4th figures is Old-school Strongman training and other martial art's body-hardening training, I mean who doesn't want a little taste of being like Mr. Incredible. As for weapons, some day I would like to learn how to throw knives, I always thought that was cool, like Trejo's character in Desperado. |

i was trained in the old celt style, get naked, lime up your hair and run at your enemy with a sword, decapitate him, take his girl and hang his skull over my front door, then i have his lady suck the magic chrome off my balls....

I will say it's pretty cool. Alot of throws and locks. One guy wears blue, the other red...then you go to war! I probably wouldve stuck with it but the one instructor was THE WORST instructor I've ever had in my life. Just a complete douchebag in every sense....it's not my nature to quit competition, but that was one class I just stopped showing up for. Last edited by PitViper; 12-05-2010 at 11:56 PM.. |

My first foray into the martial arts was Tae Kwon Do, which I studied in college for a couple years. A few years later I took up Jow Gar, 5 animal Shaolin Kung Fu. I studied it for about 7 years. During this time I also studied Wing Chun, Judo, Muy Thai, and MMA. The last time I practiced any martial arts were a few seminars at Wizard World with IFL coaches Bas Rutten, Pat Miletich, and Maurice Smith and some of their fighters.
My favorite weapon is the nunchucks. I made my own pair back in middle school (late 80's) and even did a presentation on them in speech class (I'm surprised I didn't get in any trouble for that one). I also studied some other weapons through Kung Fu (staff, escrima, Chinese broadsword). I started training with the 3 section staff but I moved away from the school before I really learned anything. |

I was actually pretty badass with nunchuks as a kid...and fairly accurate with throwing stars!!!
Now I'm pretty badass with a turkey sandwich and pretty accurate at getting it in my mouth!

Cool stuff. Actually nowadays I mostly just lift and I keep it basic. Lot of power lifting moves. Just now I've been doing bag work and looking to grapple again.

That's the one I want to learn, with the punches, sucky thing though is they don't allow chokes... Oh I know how that is, had one like that too, it sucked because the other instructors were great but this dude was just like that, if he was the only instructor I probably would have stopped showing up to. |
