First of all, there should be some Jarhead somewhere near you at a mall, Wal-Mart, or toy store near you. He is more of a badass than you are.
You slimy, slack-jawed, twinkle-toed, goat-loving pansies will never be that kind of badass.... Unless you throw something in that box. So, get up. No, I said GET THE F*CK OFF YOUR ASS! Go over there and throw something in that box and quit being a worthless piece of sh*t. Oh, boo-hoo... you can't do it? Well, put on your purdy pink pannies, you little effeminate thumb-sucker! No? I didn't think so! Well, what are you waiting for? The damned war AND Christmas will be over before you get your slow ass in gear! Seriously, gentlemen, you and the 3 1/2 women we have on this site (looking at you, Zefram)- you gotta understand that a lot of kids out there don't get a damned thing for Christmas, and you know... regardless of any beliefs, a kid should get something for Christmas. It's for them, if you ask me. We all hit the damned toy aisle all the time. Grab something for a kid that doesn't get anything. It doesn't have to be expensive ($10-$15 is the most they suggest). According to the Jarheads I know who work the program, they said that since the Marines are mostly men, there are a shit ton of boy toys. Grab one if you want, but what they need are little girl toys and preschooler toys (I know, we all want to give Joes). They also accept money donations. So, go do it, or I will personally give each and every one of you an IED under the tree. Last edited by Baron Samedi; 12-04-2010 at 01:48 AM.. |

I volunteered in 2006 when I was in the Coast Guard my whole unit was there with the Marines all day handing out toys. If you can I suggest doing it, helping some poor kid pick out some really kick ass stuff (btw you should see how the kids get to pick its like ToysRUs very cool made me wish I was a poor kid :P) There's no better feeling. Its a quality charity and a life experience I hold dear. So what Baron said get off the fricking couch and buy something for the kids. There are plenty of sales going this year for IronMan, Transformers and Barbie that will compliment your already planned trip to TRU. Heck if you do it right you might not have to spend anything. Help out!!

Was at TRU last week and bought a 6" Terminator Salvation figure for the bin (seriously, they're $5! TFT is the perfect way to get rid of them!). I also stuffed four bucks in the jar and shook the retired marine's hand, which I imagine must have been made of 110% bone and leather. >_>;

Did up a few Joes so I guess I'll grab some girls stuff this week to put in there. My mom got a few Joes and Barbies for it.
Great inspirational speech. |

I try to donate at least a couple of toys every year. No kid should be without a toy to open on Christmas.
