So what happens if I paid and the item did not arrive? The seller claims it was sent, but has no proof (tracking/confirmation).

Well if it was from e bay then I think they are supposed to provide a tracking number to cover their ass. If it was from out of the country it could take up to a month on the long end. If it was in the states then ask them to at least provide the receipt and if they can't at least do that then just file a dispute. Considering there was no tracking I'm sure it will go in your favor. E bay caters to the buyers.

If the seller can't provide a tracking number, and you bought it through paypal, you should be able to get your money back. |

File a dispute, and send the seller another e-mail explaining to him why.
Be sure to throw in a few choice "omfg, omfg" and a "I feel like I'm gonna puke", and the zinger will be to make up a story about caring for your mentally challenged daughter, but use the word retard. That'll fix him. |

Listen, I buy and sell all the time. Things can take a WHILE even withing the continental US....like WEEKS! If its out of the country, give it 4 weeks. If he cant provide any type of tracking, its technically not his fault if it did get lost, which DOES happen, but at the same time he could have put an .85 cent delivery confirmation on it. I think I give the seller the benefit of the doubt about shipping because they know full well getting a refund is REALLY easy, so if he says he shipped it he probably did, but it hasnt been long enough or it was lost.
Either way, if it comes to it just ask for a full refund. If he refuses then explain youll have to file a dispute and theyll refund it anyway, then youll leave negative feedback. Its up to the seller on how they want to handle it. If it comes to it, file a dispute, but dont do it a week after you won the item. LOTS of people are cheating the system on both ends and its too bad. |

Seller said he would send another. OK....
I finally get the item and it looks exactly like the one on the auction picture. So either he forgot to send it or the one that was sent in the first place wasn't the one pictured on the auction. I really would have no problems if he just said he forgot to send it. Anyway, I got it...so it's all good. |
