So it looks like I'll be going to San Diego Comic Con this year. It's a big dream of mine. With child number three on the way and a free ticket on Frontier, it looks like the stars are aligning to make this happen. I'm taking my oldest boy, but he'll probably spend most of his time with grandpa and an aunt while I act like a kid at the comic con.
With that being said, is there any thing at the con this year I should keep an eye out for? I definitely plan on hitting the Hasbro booth for Joes. What are the chances of seeing PDD Destro again? I've seen other companies release convention exclusives at multiple cons over the years. Does Hasbro do the same? Has anyone here ever been to the San Diego Comic Con? How does it all work? How are lines? Do they do separate lines for Joes, Transformers, and Star Wars? Can I just wait in one line for all Hasbro products or do you have to wait for certain times on certain days to pick up a GI Joe exclusive? Would these things be available on the first day or will they only be available at some predetermined time and place? I was hoping to just go to the Con a couple days and then enjoy the area the remaining days. Gaelinic

You will not see PPD there ever again. They are all sold out. The lines are HUGE. HUGER than huge. One line for everyone, because lots of people collect multiple toy lines. If they do the stupid raffle system again like they did last year, you might need to come back later in the day for your toys. My advice is to get there as early as possible and run fast to the Hasbro booth and pray that you even get an exclusive before it sells out. Last year the PDD golds were sold out by noon on the 1st day.
