I've been a wrestling fan my whole life and have always enjoyed groups like 4H, Hart Foundation (BH, OH (R.I.P.), Daveyboy Smith (R.I.P.), Brian Pillman (R.I.P.) Jim Neidhart, Triple Threat, The Radicals, original nWo (Hall, Nash, Hogan) etc.
I am wondering which wrestlers some Tankers/wrestling fans would put together to form a faction. The wrestlers could be past and present mix. Try to keep the group between 3-5 and not like the end of the nWo where almost the whole roster ended up in the nWo. I would go with the Triangle of Pain - Big Van Vader (one of my favorite wrestlers), Stan Hansen, and Taz (original ECW days) |

I'd gotta go with the Horsemen, too....but the Ric/Arn/Tully/Barry lineup. I THINK it's the only time where the whole group held titles at the same time (summer/fall '88). They OWNED NWA at that time.
As for a made up stable....The Great Muta (circa early 90s), Ultimo Dragon, Tajiri, and Hayabusa. Call them some crazy Japanglish name like "Super Amazing Dread Watch Gang 2001". In Japan, they would dominate....in WWE, they'd be a bad stereotyped comic relief skit, who'd probably be paired with Mr. Fuji as their manager (not taking anything away from Fuj the Stooge, I love that guy, but he wouldn't work here). |

I've always maintained that since Taker is getting on in years and with each match seems to need longer to recover, that he move into a managerial position.
That being said...I would put him in charge of a Stable of wrestlers. -Kane Yeah he too is getting on in years and such but he's doing better than Taker. -Kevin Thorn and Ariel (or really any goth chick) Big young guy, has a gimmick already tailor made to fit with Taker and Kane, and could carry the majority of the in ring work leaving Kane less prone to injury and Thorn could learn from two of the best. I'd also like to add some young smaller high flyers to this group to give it a little diversity but I'm not sure who would work in this sorta gimmick. |
