How much did you profit on what you sold the guy? I'm not saying you're wrong in what you charged, it's just that you have to remember that sometimes you have to spend $$ to make $$ is all. What kind of quote did you give the guy initially on what shipping would be vs what it finally cost? Was your shipping est close or was it off b/c you misjuged it ? If you misjudged it and came up short, that's not his fault, or you should have let him know your estimate was off and what the new total was BEFORE you shipped it to cover yourself. I've had the same thing happen to me on a smaller scale, and I've had to eat it on my profits when I've missed the boat myslef.

If he were to have said that against another group of people, say, Southern Americans, people of African descent, Jews, etc, what would you have done? This is outrageous. |

That doesn't make Superman half Canadian. On one hand, he wasn't born in any country on Earth. But he was raised and lives in America. I'm not seeing where you can say he's half Canadian. If a white comic book writer creates a black character, is that character then half white? Silly.

Certainly, we have freedom of speech, which you agreed was limited to the acceptable terms of use of this board when you signed up.

That would actually be for the mods to decide. And given that you've insulted an entire nation (there are several Canadians on this board) I wouldn't count on that.

You're going to make a lot of friends here if you keep up that attitude. Here in America we do have freedom of speech, as long as it doesn't offend someone else.

i would have requested the additional monies however i would not expect to receive them. your relying on honor in people and in my years of ebay/trading/selling experience that rarely happens unfortunately.
it also pays to do the shipping research thoroughly ahead of time. it only takes once to learn a lot of leasons and i learned the hard way as well. sorry to hear it went so bad for you. fyi, the postal tips here are very good.

I made a 17 dollar profit on the item itself, i never gave him a quote until all the work was done, which was about a week, and i'd be damned if im going to eat 50 dollars of my own money just to make someone else happy.I'm not mean, but I'm no fool either.
