I've been thinking, Everything has a loop hole, and however un-ethical is it may be, i want to hear what you have to think.
We all know e-bays policy about selling KO or fake products, BUT what if we GIVE THEM AWAY FOR FREE along with another, legitimate item?? Lets say, oh, i have an Acorn. A real, 100% authentic off the tree acorn, and i want to put a buy it now of lets say, oh... $30. Along with this acorn, as a BIN bonus, i throw in one of those keen new KO Transformer Headmaster figures, absolutley free. All ya have to do is pay shipping on both items. As long as the description is accurate, and the buyer knows he's bidding on an acorn, does this method work for getting past Ebays no selling KO rule? |

I wouldnt be surprised if E-bay didnt like that and pulled it, and I also wouldnt be surprised if some other seller reported it in hopes of it getting taken down.
And I know its hypothetical, but I wouldnt sell an acorn. Its technically a nut and although Im not sure if ebay has a policy against selling food, it might be an invasive species in some areas and could do environmental harm in some places. I sell something really stupid like "A genuine rock from Canada", that sort of thing. Good idea, let us know how it goes. |

Pretty sure youre being sarcastic, but Im an avid outdoorsman/conservationist and donate TONS of time and money to conservation issues and invasives are a serious problem in the world. New England is currently being overrun by "rock snot". It can do a TON of damage to watersheds. And look at the guys complaining about the stink bugs in the mid-Atlantic states. Again, invasive species. Its something most people dont think twice about, which is very detrimental to our environment.
