The only "real" airsoft gun I have is a battery powered Beretta 93R, although it doesn't have a working slide and realistic clip. Love the way it looks and it was neat to play around with, plus I was lucky and the price was marked down. As for toys I have an Auto 9 and a .45. I would have bought the official/name brand versions but the auto 9 was around $300 and the .45 was $100+ and I would have to buy extra gas and extra magazines. I also wanted the replica shotgun where each time you pump it a shell is ejected, but the gun plus the shells would have cost way more than it's worth. Plus NERF guns(Generics too) are getting real close to doing the exact same thing so I'll hold off until then(love the generic double-barrell).
My primary is my 390FPS M203 with a Gas grenade launcher that is capable of launching a projectile up to 50+ feet away on a full charge with a 120 round shell. I've got one kill with this weapon for the grenade launcher alone. I've only used it in battle twice. First time I did not have a grenade to use. Second time I did use it and scored a kill. Other weapons of mine are my M14, and CQB G36.

Hey Shipwreck, what does that WWII era Thompson sell for. I could almost justify buying one of those, because I couldn't legally own the real thing. However, I get a smirk from the wife when I buy a $7.00 action figure. Her reaction to a $300.00 toy gun would probably be a little more intense.

The FPS on the pictured thompson is 435-440fps with a modified motor, gearbox, and Spring set. It has a kick and rocks hard for accuracy. You can pick up a decent one full metal Cyma for around 219.00 that has around 400+ FPS out of box, for a Chicago Typerwriter, like the one I am going to purchase in about a week from now.

Oh by the way... As for getting into a fight over the Airsoft stuff... I can completely relate. I get in to some VERY heated arguments over these stress tackling items on a daily basis.
I buy one gun and get called obsessed... Buy a second I get called a psycho, etc.. But I'd rather get these and go blow off some steam with friends and be happy, then keep some things bottled up and.. yeah... Need some sort of an outlet at times!
