So, it's a protien like cell that reproduces under extreme temperatures, reacts to low spectrum radiation, and is similar to the protiens that cause degenerative mutations in cows.

I always thought the Indian red rain was interesting but as soon as a few skeptics give a hum drum explanation, sand, dust, etc, that's good enough for most and the subject is dropped. Good to see someone was still researching it, I had forgotten all about it. There's so much out there we don't understand, if we ever stop with all the bullshit maybe we can get to the bottom of some of these mysteries. On a related note we will discover life in our solar system soon, most likely minutes after as we crack the surface of Europa. Hopefully before that and somewhere closer, but in our lifetimes for sure.
