Hands down The Islands. I am not sure if it's a national chain but $8 for a burger but then you have to order a huge thing of fries for the table if you want more than a burger.

I agree with the OP. I have never had more overpriced turdly food than at the International House of Puke. Granted, it is 7.99 or 8.99 for most things, but the amount and quality of food is a joke! Couple that with the fact that you are served by a woman who looks like jello in a trash bag and you have one of the worst dining experiences around. I would pay 15.99 for breakfast gladly to have the food be edible and the atmosphere pleasant.

really tough call, but i'll say buffalo wild wings. not sure how widespread they are but they charge extra for fries w/ an already overpriced burger. inexcusable. plus their wings aren't great. if 'wings' is in the name of your restaurant, you'd better have good wings.

I have to say Mr. Hero's. This is only because of their prices. The food is great, but they really rape your wallet.

C'mon guys! What about PF CHANGS? Absolutely atrocious prices for a plate of mediocre food, that has maybe 2 servings. They have a "budget dinner" which is called "Chang's for two" for the low price of $39.99+tax+tip+drinks. Seriously, all you pay for is the "atmosphere" and the right to brag to your friends and co-workers about how you had dinner(aka got ripped-off) at "Changs" last night.
My buddy is a server there and tries to stand-up for them every time I rag on the place but I've never eaten there and been happy with it. And to put things into perspective for you: I can eat a 8 hour old pizza pocket from a gas station and be happy as long as it's hot. |

Ruby Tuesdays. You can get better food at a truckstop for a third of the price. Same really holds true for any place like it (Applebee's, TGI Fridays, Chilli's), it just isn't that good and costs too much.

Depends on what you get, I usually get the oven roasted chicken breast, and it is either $3.25 for the 6 or $5 for the footlong. Get something like the feast, and you pay considerably more. Quizno's is more expensive, but they had a 2-$5 meal that was like a salad (or soup), small sandwich and a small drink. I didn't care for the small sand selections, so would often get soup and a salad, or 2 salads.

I vote Quiznos. The subs are NEVER actually toasted and when you add a cookie for dessert, the total is like $11 for one person...
