So I guess this is a cause for both celebration and despair. I just ordered my first two macross toys since the masterpiece collection first made it's debut. Since i already have almost all the joe 25th line and every poc figure released to date, I got bored this morning and went to check out what kind of macross stuff was available online. I'm going to be getting the vf 1-j and 1-s 1:100 th scale transformable veritechs from revoltech (probably spelled wrong) and I'm super stoked to start collecting macross stuff again. Only problem is it's so damned expensive! Just another thing to hurt my wallet I guess. Just wanted to share. I've been re hooked on macross since I did a Rick hunter custom for the California state fairs robotech display. I also got to meet Tony oliver (the voice of Rick hunter from robotech) and had my masterpiece vf 1-j signed by him.
Anyone else on the tank collect robotech stuff?

I've had to resist getting back into Robotech. It's so tempting, especially with the Masterpiece stuff.
The hardest for me has been staying away from the Next Gen stuff. I'm addicted to Cyclones. BTW, I was heartbroken not being able to make it up to Sac for the fair to see your work. Any chance you'll start up a thread or show them off here? |

Thanks allot dude! It was quite the project. The sculpting was the hardest part of the whole custom for sure. Got allot of flack for the head choice but I felt like it was the best choice given my time constraints.
